100 Days

On April 1st I gave myself a few new goals:

Walk 300 miles in 100 days. (Average of 3 a day)
Drink no less than 1.5 liters of water a day (which is turning out to be too easy...)
Eat greens with every meal.
Do a "supplemental" workout every other day. (Like lifting weights or a Kayla Itsines workout, etc.)

So far, I've done relatively well. I mean, it's been 12 days since I started but I've stayed on track with most of the goals. The green goal is slightly tricky. If you have tips on how to incorporate greens into your diet better, please let me know!

Depending on how the day I try to knock out all three miles right then and there. It usually takes me about an hour/hour and fifteen minutes. The weather is still unpredictable so sometimes the walk gets cut short (like when it started to snow) but I always go back out later in the day to get those miles. I've actually really come to love it. Sometimes the hubby even laces up and comes out with me. It's not often though because he's swamped with work and school but I love it when he does come. Having been told that, due to tendonitis, I really should not run I have found solace in walking! My legs still burn like they did when I ran and there is also less impact on my knees and hips.

I don't own a weighing device so I don't know if I've lost weight but I feel better and that's where I'm starting for now. I'll check my weight at the doctor's office whenever it is I happen to go next but until then I'm focusing on how I feel and right now I feel fine!
